
Michelle Julet brings over two decades of leadership at the intersection of entrepreneurship, innovation, and organizational strategy. Her career spans launching global education ventures—such as establishing National Geographic Learning as an international brand—to transforming legacy institutions in healthcare publishing as Head of Innovation at the New England Journal of Medicine.
Now at Lehigh, Michelle leads the Baker Institute’s mission to cultivate entrepreneurial mindsets, support startup incubation, and help foster a vibrant, inclusive innovation culture across campus. She works in close partnership with Lehigh Ventures Lab to help founders—from students to faculty—translate bold ideas into high-impact ventures.
In addition to her professional work in higher education, Michelle is also the founder of The Business of Doing Good, a nonprofit organization that empowers youth to tackle real-world challenges using entrepreneurial thinking, financial literacy, and workforce readiness. This initiative reflects her ongoing commitment to inclusive and practical entrepreneurship education at all levels.
