Lehigh University alumna Olivia Abrams ’21 is heading to primetime! Olivia and her father will appear on the season finale of Shark Tank this Friday, May 16 at 8 PM EST on ABC and Hulu Live, pitching their innovative tick-removal product, TiCK MiTT.

TiCK MiTT is a glove made from scientifically engineered microfiber that works like Velcro to safely and easily remove ticks from people and pets. After use, the glove is placed in a mesh bag and tossed in the dryer, where the heat kills any attached ticks. Since its official launch in March 2023, TiCK MiTT has gained national attention with features on The View and Good Morning America, and is available for purchase at TickMitt.com and Amazon.
Olivia’s journey with TiCK MiTT began in 2018 while she was a Lehigh undergraduate. She and her father started developing the product in collaboration with a tick scientist, driven by a shared passion for preventing tick-borne diseases.
While at Lehigh, Olivia took full advantage of the university’s entrepreneurial ecosystem—including participating in entrepreneurship courses, the Baker Institute's LehighSiliconValley program, the Lehigh@NasdaqCenter Innovation Internship, and receiving post-grad support from the Lehigh Ventures Lab to help bring TiCK MiTT from concept to market.
In recognition of her social impact, Olivia was named to the 2025 Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the Social Impact category.
Her upcoming Shark Tank appearance is the latest milestone in a journey rooted in innovation, resilience, and the Lehigh spirit of entrepreneurship.
Tune in Friday, May 16 at 8 PM to see Olivia pitch TiCK MiTT to the Sharks—and cheer on a proud Mountain Hawk making a difference!
